This page details the Terms and policies for Mentoring.
It also outlines your responsibilities as a Mentee.

Phone or Zoom Sessions
Each session will be 50 - 60 minutes in duration and is to be scheduled at least seven (7) days in advance when possible. A minimum of 24 hours advanced scheduling is required.
You will be in charge of scheduling the appointment via the online scheduler. You will be directed to schedule your first call when you complete this form.
At the scheduled time, I will call you via the number you provide. Or, you will sign in directly on Zoom. I will be in a quiet environment, free from distraction.
You may choose to be mentored from anywhere. But being mentored in a public place, or in a noisy or distracting environment may seriously limit the effectiveness of the session.
I will not mentor you while you are driving. If you need to be driving during the session you must pull over for the duration or we will reschedule the session. The cancellation fee (see below) will apply. Please plan accordingly.
Communication between Session
The relationship we build is important to me. I am always happy to hear from and to support my clients.
I am available by email at: sarah@sarahfischer.life. I read email once daily Monday - Friday and will respond when appropriate.
I do not read or reply to email on the weekends or on holidays. You are free to message me during those days and I will read it on the next business day.
I ask that you do not attempt to contact me via phone or text but instead use email or make notes for our next session. The exception is that you may text to cancel in case of an emergency.
I also communicate via the free MarcoPolo app. I watch and review messages as soon as I am able. I will respond within 24 hours or on the next business day. If you would like to contact me via the app let me know and we’ll share contact information.
Subscription Payments and Refunds
Ongoing in-depth mentoring is offered on a monthly subscription basis for $300 each month. Your subscription includes 2 individual sessions per month, and unlimited support between sessions via email and/or MarcoPolo app as described above.
Payment is due at the start of each month and prior to all sessions. This means each session will be accompanied by full payment.
Once you agree to these terms I will send an additional authorization which will start the subscription service. The subscription renews on a monthly basis.
When you are ready to discontinue mentoring you may cancel your subscription at anytime. To do so, please email me at sarah@sarahfischer.life. I will confirm by email that the subscription is discontinued. If you do not receive email confirmation assume the subscription is not yet discontinued. Please be in touch again if you do not receive confirmation within 2 business days.
You may also suspend your subscription for the period of one month (30-days) for any reason. If you need to suspend the subscription for longer than 30 days please contact me and we will make appropriate arrangements.
It is your responsibility to schedule 2 calls per month. No refunds are given for unused sessions from a calendar month. Sessions are not transferrable to a later month.
I do not give refunds for calls that have already taken place or for calls that were not cancelled within the 24-hour cancellation window. See below for more details on cancellations and rescheduling.
Drop-In Payments and Refunds
Drop-in mentoring is available for those seeking assistance with a specific task or question. Drop-in mentoring is offered on a sliding scale for $60 - $108 per call. Drop-in mentoring includes the single call plus one follow up email or conversation on the MarcoPolo app as described above.
Payment is due at the time you schedule your session. This means each session will be accompanied by full payment.
I do not give refunds for calls that have already taken place or for calls that were not cancelled within the 24-hour cancellation window. See below for more details on cancellations and rescheduling.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies
Please email to cancel at least 24 hours in advance or the full amount of a missed appointment fee will be charged.
I understand that emergencies do happen that may keep you from attending a session. In the case of an emergency (serious illness, hospitalization, serious accident, death in the family) please email me as soon as possible and the situation will be assessed on a case by case basis.
If you miss an appointment and do not cancel within 24 hours but wish to make-up the session you will be charged the session price for both the missed session and the make-up session. Make-up sessions are subject to availability and may not always be possible.
If you need to reschedule a session and it is more than 24 hours before the session is scheduled please visit the online scheduler to change your date and/or time. You may reschedule as often as you need to. If you have a subscription, it is your responsibility to schedule 2 sessions per calendar month.
Confidentiality
I am committed to keeping all contacts, information, and records confidential.
Confidentiality may be broken in instance where it appears you may be in danger of harming yourself or another person or if court ordered by a judge.
Occasionally, I may share information with other coaches and my meditation teacher for training and feedback purposes; however the mentee, along with other identifying information will always remain anonymous.
Your Responsibilities

I understand that mentoring is not advice-giving, psychotherapy, legal council, business coaching, accounting/bookkeeping, or counseling. I agree to seek these or other professional services if needed.
I am fully responsible for the decisions and actions I take with regard to my life, my yoga teaching choices, and my affairs
I agree to be mindful of my own well-being during the course of this mentoring process
I shall in no way hold Sarah Fischer, Sarah Fischer LLC, or any other company Sarah Fischer is affiliated with liable or responsible for any outcomes resulting directly or indirectly from this mentoring process or for any actions I take during or after this mentoring process.
I understand that Sarah Fischer makes no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied about any results to be achieved.
I agree to the 24-hour cancellation policy as outlined above
I agree to the payment policy as outlined above
I understand that Sarah Fischer retains the right to discontinue the mentoring relationship for delinquent payment or at her discretion.
