Nurture Your Teaching

Mentorship Cohort Fall 2026

The Fall 2026 mentorship cohort is an opportunity for yoga teachers to cultivate personal growth, strengthen professional connections, and earn continuing education hours through shared learning and practice.

By following your specific interest into a personal project, practicing with the group, and sharing in a variety of teaching experiences and discussions, you will both nurture your own growth and contribute to the collective wisdom of the group.

Teaching yoga is a powerful calling but it can be lonely. Group mentorship brings you into a circle with other folks who take teaching seriously, and want to grow alongside each other.

Together, we build our capacity to lead from the Heart.

Yoga teachers support their communities. Mentorship Cohort supports yoga teachers

Q& A

How do I know if the cohort is right for me? It’s good for you if you’ve been feeling stagnant or stuck. It’s good for you if you’re having a hard time getting started with your teaching or if you’re struggling to change directions. It’s good for you if you feel like you’re in a rut and are ready to stretch yourself. It’s a good fit if you’re longing for a community of yoga teachers to connect with. It’s a good fit if you feel called to it. If you’re not sure, reach out to me, let’s have a conversation about it.

How do I know if the cohort is NOT right for me? It’s not a good fit if you already know everything you need to know. It’s not a good fit if you aren’t interested in growing yourself or your teaching. It’s not a good fit if you don’t have the time or space in your life to challenge yourself. It’s not a good fit if it will be a financial strain for you to participate.

What do you mean by a personal project? Everyone in the group will have something they specifically focus on. One person might want to work on cues and language skills. Someone else might explore yoga philosophy and how to share that with their students. Another might want to teach their first workshop. Someone else could be getting ready to teach their first class. Having a personal project focuses your attention through the five months. It helps you see your growth over time.

What I don’t have a project in mind?‍ ‍No worries, we’ll spend the first session exploring ideas for our personal projects. The beginning of our time together is about clarifying what feels important, what feels doable, and what feels just challenging enough.

Will I have time to ask general teaching questions that aren’t about my project? Absolutely. Part of our time together is dedicated to conversations around the challenges and questions that naturally come up when you’re in the seat of teacher.

What is the framework for the mentorship circles? We will be supported by the Naturally Aligned framework, a way of organizing our experience that mirrors the cycles of nature. Working this way brings feelings of ease and settledness while you’re growing and exploring.

What if I need to miss a session or a weekend? You can make up the asana session by coming to a class on a Sunday or by taking an online class. Make up a missed circle with a 30-minute 1:1 mentorship call with Sarah. The 30 minute make up is available one time. If you will miss more than one weekend or session let’s talk about whether the cohort is a good fit for the fall.

Will you be running another mentorship cohort soon? It is my intention to take time away in the winter then run another mentorship cohort in the spring of 2027. If the fall isn’t the right time for you, but you’d like to know about the spring cohort, please be in touch.

What is your refund policy? I do not give refunds for workshops, programs, or this mentorship cohort. Please confirm the details above before you sign up.
