Your shoulder joint is the most mobile joint in your body. And it has very little bony support, instead it relies on the musculature around it for stability.
A well-aligned yoga practice can help you build the strength to support your shoulders while maintaining the mobility you need in your every day life.
In this 2-hour workshop we will discuss the shoulder joint and learn about lining it up for optimal freedom and stability. The workshop includes brief lecture, anatomy, some partner work and plenty of time to play with the optimal placement of your shoulder in many different poses.
This is a Mixed Level workshop. 6 months of yoga experience recommended.
