For centuries, yogis have viewed the five elements - sky, earth, water, fire and air - as the building blocks of the entire natural world, including our bodies. Living in the fast paced modern world it is easy to lose touch with the power of nature. But, the five elements hold much wisdom for today’s yoga practitioners on how to live and practice while skillfully aligning with the ups and downs of life.
Join me for a five week course of exploration. Using lecture and asana, we will dive into each of the elements to discover the deeper wisdom of nature. In this course you will learn how to apply the elements to your yoga practice for a strong, balanced, and well-cared for body. And, how to bring them into your life for greater ease in navigating the challenges of our rapidly changing world.
