  • 3007A West Clay Street Richmond, VA, 23230 United States (map)

Want to learn more about Tantric Philosophy this summer?

Join me for a bi-weekly discussion on topics related to Tantra.

When: Tuesday nights 8-9:15 ish

Dates: June 14, June 28, July 12, July 26,  August 9,  August 23

What: A VERY INFORMAL discussion around a chosen piece of Tantric Philosophy. I will briefly introduce the topic and then open up the floor for discussion and Q &A.  Earlier in the week I will post the topic below and on my Facebook page along with optional readings from Tantra Illuminated.

Optional Text: Tantra Illuminated: The Philosophy, History and Practice of a Timeless Tradition by Christopher Wallis.   This text is written by a Tantric scholar who is also a practitioner.  It is meant as both a college level textbook and an aid for yoga practitioners.  It is at times a very easy and interesting read, and at other times challenging and dense.  But if you are looking for a text on the Tantric tradition that I have been teaching from in general this is an excellent place to start.

Where:  Gearhead Camera Building, Scotts Addition (right beside King of Pops)

 3007A West Clay St, RVA

PLEASE NOTE: the space is very open and empty. We will be sitting on the floor on blankets and cushions.  If you have your own meditation cushion or blanket, please feel free to bring it, along with anything else you'd like to have for your own comfort.

Donation of cash or non-perishable food *

Preregistration is not required.  You do not have to come to all of the sessions. Feel Free to invite a friend or two

*Donation will cover my cost for babysitting and the remainder will go to Feedmore, the Central Virginia Foodbank.
