In Ashaya Yoga, the Four Essentials provide a powerful framework of support for strengthening and developing your physical practice. By applying the Essentials on the mat, Ashaya Yoga students experience both stability and freedom in their bodies. They also build a deep connection to their own inner wisdom.
Join me for a 4 week introduction into the Four Essentials -Open, Engage, Align, and Expand. This series is designed to introduce you to the Essentials and to teach you how to bring them into your practice. Each week we will use lecture, exploratory exercises, and asana practices to discover and play with one Essential. By the end of the series you will have a well rounded understanding of each Essential that you can take into any asana practice in the future. Beyond that, you will have deepened your connection to your self and your own inner wisdom.
